STEP 1:

How to make Carrot salad for the New Year 2023? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. The basis of this salad can be any puff salad, which contains carrots. I’ll be making a salad with canned tuna. Choose tuna in oil or in its own juice.
STEP 2:

Wash potatoes and carrots and boil in boiling water for about 20 minutes until soft. Boil the eggs in boiling water for 7-8 minutes. Then drain the hot water and fill the eggs with cold water. Cool boiled potatoes, carrots and eggs. Then peel the eggs from the shell. And peel the carrots and potatoes. Open a can of canned tuna, drain the liquid and mash the fish with a fork.
STEP 3:

To assemble the salad, choose a long dish. Grate the potatoes and lay out the first layer, forming the shape of a carrot. I made small bumpers around the edges to make it more convenient to lay out the tuna. Lubricate this layer and all the following with a little mayonnaise.
STEP 4:

Spread a layer of tuna on top of the potatoes. Thanks to the potato sides, oil does not drain from the tuna, but soaks the salad from the inside.
STEP 5:

Lay the grated eggs in the next layer. From them, form a small hill along the length of the carrot.
STEP 6:

Distribute the grated boiled carrots with the last layer, covering the salad on all sides with it. Press with your hands, trimming the sides.
STEP 7:

And at the end, insert the tops of carrots, the role of which will be played by parsley or any other fresh herbs. Cool the salad a little and serve on the festive table. Have a nice meal!
Be sure to wash your eggs before use, as even seemingly clean shells can harbor harmful bacteria. It is best to use food grade detergents and a brush.
Shake the tin before buying. The more liquid in it, the less fish.
Mayonnaise is better to cook yourself. It will be tastier and healthier.
Also, as a dressing, you can use not only mayonnaise, but also sour cream or natural yogurt. They can be taken separately or mixed with mayonnaise in any proportion to your taste – this will reduce the calorie content of the dish.
