This lemon cream cheese frosting recipe has a great citrus flavor that will compliment many cookies well!
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
М cup salted butter, softened
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2-3 cups powdered sugar
3 drops yellow food coloring
Step 1: In a medium bowl, with an electric mixer set on medium-high beat cream cheese and butter until combined.
Step 2: Beat in 1 cup of powdered sugar and lemon juice.
Step 3: Beat in 1-2 cups more powdered sugar until frosting is of spreading consistency.
Step 4: Stir in a few drop of yellow food coloring.
