Chocolate Overboard Cookie Recipe

Chocolate Overboard cookie recipe is great title for this one. Start with a chocolate cookie base and add white chocolate and dark chocolate chunks. This recipe is for those who can’t get enough chocolate!

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup (packed) dark brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 sticks (1 cup) salted butter, softened
3 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
5 ounces semi-sweet chocolate bar, coarsely chopped (about 1 cup)
5 ounces white chocolate bar, coarsely chopped (about 1 cup)

Step 1: Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
Step 2: In medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
Step 3: In large bowl, blend sugars, beat in butter to form a grainy paste.
Step 4: Add eggs and vanilla extract, and beat at medium speed until smooth.
Step 5: Add flour mixture and chocolates, and blend well at low speed until just combined.
Step 6: Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.
Step 7: Bake for 18-22 minutes. Transfer cookies immediately to cool surface.

Makes 36 cookies.
