This chocolate cream cheese frosting recipe goes great on rich flavored cookies! This recipe can be adjusted for more sweetness by simply adding a touch more sugar and chocolate!
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Step 1: In a double boiler, melt chocolate and heavy cream until mixture is smooth; remove from heat.
Step 2: In a medium bowl, with an electric mixer set on medium-high setting beat together cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
Step 3: Slowly add chocolate mixture and stir together. Frosting will thicken as chocolate cools.
